A cold, wet and snowy lunchtime means that gardening club was cancelled today. Most of the beds are still covered in snow and the prospect of being outside was not appealing so we decided to give it a miss.
We don’t have any urgent jobs to do – the planting of our peppers can wait until next week anyway.
However, our tomatoes, snug inside in the warm have started germinating. In true primary science experiment style, the ones closest to the radiator are off before the ones further away from it so they will need switching round but great to see the first signs of life.
